Ingredients

  • Asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to season the fish
  • 3/4 glass of Guinness Stout
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 boneless tilapia fillets

  • Preheat the oven to 150°C.  
  • Season the fish with salt and pepper and bake in the oven for 35 40 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a small heavy saucepan, stir together beer, brown sugar and mustard and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture just starts to thicken, 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat and set glaze aside.
  • Meanwhile, rinse asparagus and break off tough ends drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. In the last ten minutes of cooking time for the tilapia, place asparagus in the same baking dish, and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Apply the glaze on the fish serve and enjoy.
